Rotarians and friends gathered at the Escola in Quarteira to provide the students with an opportunity to try out their menus, table arrangements and service before the Algarve Schools Cookery Competition starts properly in January.  Three teams delighted their guests with a wide verity of food all delivered with excellent attention to detail.  The table settings were impressive, the service was faultless and even though it was the first time serving tables for some team members their nerves did not show as they went about serving the judges and guests in a professional manner.  The three, three course meals, provided were of high quality and although small improvements could be made the school certainly showed that they will be a serious contender when the competition proper in January.
