Much of the fund raising this year has been for Casa de Povo in support of their work with the mentally disadvantaged.  We have provided teaching resources and equipment for the new project. David Trubshaw in particular raised 5000€ through sales of his book of Art and Poetry. The pictures and poems in the book were contributed by children in Silves Schools. There are still some copies available please contact us if you would like one. The funds will go to purchase items for the sensory room. Representatives of Casa de Povo Catarina Seguro and Patricia Francisco accepted  3 cheques at RC Silves meeting on the 28 November 2019 for a total of 10859€.
